My Grown Up Christmas List

I am clearly loving my blog application. I've been seeing lots of Christmas list blogs...am I the ONLY girl who doesn't want Tory Burch flats?! So I decided to share my list...mind you, I am not getting much cause I asked for money for my Bahamas trip in March. I'm sure on Christmas I'll wanna be opening gifts but come March 6 I am gonna be thanking Santa :)

I'll start with some realistic gifts :

This cute snow hat from American Eagle

Loving these flat slouch boots from Bakers

I actually KNOW I am getting this. And unless your OCD with your planner like I am... you won't appreciate it. It's a custom life planner equipped with personalized pictures on the cover, plenty of writing room, a zip pouch for odds and ends and other AWESOME stuff. I strongly suggest you check out Erin Condrens website. She rocks.

Here's some more expensive fun to dream things :

An Ipad dock..with a keyboard. Sooo cool

I am sadly a victim off the Ugg trend. But uggs and Jimmy choo..oh my!!

Hah. No, that's not them but that image is funny.
This is a few of the bedazzled uggs. Up in the $700 range. No thanks.

If you could have ONE outrageous gift what would it be..?

Snow many traditions.

Corny title eh? If you are around the Raleigh area the you know the town is upside down because of the 25 snow flakes.

Since moving into my perfect little town home, I have made some awesome friends. My neighbors could not be any more perfect for me. This is them. (this pictures captures them perfectly).

I love living by myself but sometimes I miss having "girl time". My neighbors are perfect for this.. I can walk in to their unopened house or bang on their locked door anytime of day. I don't know if they know how much I love their meaningless conversations so... Girls, I love y'all and are so happy to live next to you. Thanks for the advice, drinking or stealing my wine, doing my hair for inappropriate times ;) and the memories...I look forward to sooo many more.

One of my favorite memories is our snow days. We play in the snow, eat too much bojangles, drink wine and have had two pretty decent snow parties. One involving many people..the other a good ole girls night.

This was like a movie... The ice broke right under her. She LEAPED. Obviously not fast enough.

She wasn't wearing socks.

This picture is too ridiculous to explain but..notice the Bojangles cup.

I'm going to wake my neighbors for the second time today..there is only 23 snowflakes left!

Just got an app..to blog from my iPad.

This may or may not work. If it does, I will be so happy because posting will become so much easier and more frequent. This week has been beautiful chaos. I've had my 4 year old god daughter for a week..

And don't forget these two, every other day..

I won't lie. It's been one of the hardest weeks of my life but so rewarding. I'm laying in my goddaughters temporary room packing up her thinking about how much I will miss her. The things that frustrated me the most, will probably be most missed

- I will miss near knocking on my bedroom door at 5:30 am. She may be an early bird but she's a polite early bird.
- I will miss bath time and getting my pants wet washing her hair.
- I will miss hearing her laugh and scream while her and Joplin played.

- I will miss her telling me every night how much she loves me, how special her room is and how she can't wait to see me in the morning.
- I will miss our in depth conversations on the way to work.
- I will miss the help, the laughter, the hugs, the company and so much more..

I am now crying my eyes out. Were gonna go have a special Christmas... I got her ladybug a pillow pet. She's only mentioned it 322 times. She sold me when she exclaimed "it's a pillow..a pet..and WASHABLE". I'm thinking about sending those pillow pet geniuses her video :)

Anyone selling a school bus, pass it along my way ;)

Goodnight.
